In 1963 Scott Vaughan was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada. At the age of 12 he began playing acoustic guitar while taking four of years of weekly private lessons from Al (Bubsy) Brown at Tony's Music Box . At the age of 14 he purchased his first electric guitar and began learning popular rock songs from records by ear while forming a series of basement bands. | ![]() |
From 1979-1981 while attending Fredericton High School Scott studied music theory from music director Tom Morrison. These courses included formal sight reading on bass recorder and violin as well as classical music history studies. After graduation from high school in 1981 Scott joined a series of full time, Top-40, cover bands as and toured most of the clubs in Eastern Canada including New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, P.E.I. and Newfoundland for the next four years. | ![]() |
In 1994 Scott graduated from the University of New Brunswick with his Bachelor of Business Administration with a Fine Arts Minor in Music. To complete the requirements of the Music Minor he studied music history, composition and theory while taking private instruction from local jazz guitarist Geordie Haley. Pursuant to the requirement to the university midi course Scott purchased a PC soundcard and software platform and composed, notated and arranged original electronic music with a Roland Guitar Synthesizer. |

In 1995 Scott joined The Suspects a popular local rock band fronted by independent record artist Jon Fidler who received local radio airplay for his debut album Cryin' Shame. The group played clubs throughout the Maritimes and opened local concert events for such national touring acts as April Wine, Kim Mitchell and Trooper. The group also entered into a sponsorship agreement with Molson Canadian involving various specialty products, posters, signage and T-Shirts and placed as major prize winners in Maritime Broadcasting Startracks Search for New Talent contest. | ![]() |
In 2000 Scott accepted a position as a Software Developer in Los Angeles, California and moved to Hermosa Beach and joined a weekend band Rockslide. | ![]() |
In 2002 Scott returned to Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada to work for a local Software company and joined a the band Screaming Wings |
In 2005 Scott moved to South Florida to accept a position with a local Software company and joined a the band Toxic Mojo. | ![]() |
